About the Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library
Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library is a welcoming, modern, and exciting place of community engagement, where diverse people gather to discover, create, and share ideas. With an expanded library facility, there are opportunities to increase services relative to multi-cultural requirements, small business, support and training for technology, young adults, history and heritage, and related areas. Consideration to expansion of community-based programming into the rural areas must be given, along with the undertaking of improved marketing and customer service initiatives. Whitchurch-Stouffville’s library of the future could provide more children’s, seniors’, teens’, and shut-in programs; extended hours; synergies with other community facilities; multi-lingual/cultural services; and archival services.
